Metro Challenge Race Car Radiator

he is competing in the MG Metro Cup. He came to us asking for a
lightweight racing spec radiator. Once the radiator has been made, it was
weighed at 4kg - HALF the weight of the original radiator he has been
using!

the overall weight of the car. This radiator has been made for a car where
TWO motorbike engines are being used at the same time!! With this in

weight of the original copper and brass unit which was supplied as a

1926 Delarge Radiator

A customer for
whom I had previously made a petrol tank for returned to us requiring a
modern radiator to be made to be put into his beautifully restored
radiator cowling made from German Silver. This radiator is gravity fed -
no water pump is used. The customer gave us certain criteria to meet, such
as how much water the radiator must hold and the amount water it must cool
per hour, and that it had to be painted black - and these pictures show
the finished item!
